For those who don’t know, YA stands for Young Adult books. And, what categorizes a “summer read”? I imagine it to be a light, engaging, and fun book you’d want to take with you to the beach or on the subway. Either way, the two-part series of “Grace and Fury” and “Queen of Ruin” fit both categories. It’s “A Handmaid’s Tale” type of story that’s a little less intense, with very likable characters and a fun plot to peruse. Sure there were some things that were lacking, such as a stellar gradual ending-but it was still a perfect summer read for the season.
Oh, and shoutout to Cutwater for their amazing mojito drinks in a can! They also have mai tai and other fun flavors!
