| This book/memoir/comic/graphic novel was absolutely AMAZING. I was teary-eyed throughout this entire book. I was also tearing up hearing Jarrett speak in person at the Brooklyn library. You can also watch his TedTalk online. “Hey, Kiddo” is a definite must read! I loved the letters his mom wrote to him as well. Battling substance abuse is extremely difficult, as well as aiming to be the best parent one can be. Same with being the best son/daughter we can be. |
