I was so fortunate to meet Martellus Bennett last year at an event in NYC. He spoke about his children’s book, “Dear Black Boy,” being like a love letter of encouragement to his younger self, and all the black boys out there who need to be reminded that they can be more than athletes.
How true are his words, that “The quest for freedom continues . . . so we must run another lap, like the greats before us who ran the same race.”
Let’s win this fight together and change the world.
